Anybody can astral project, including you! In fact, the experience of consciousness leaving the body is not new. Almost all the ancient civilizations of the world were aware of it. What’s more, we all leave our bodies when we are asleep, but we are unaware of it. To experience an astral projection fully, we need to be fully conscious, awake, and aware. This article will teach you how to astral project in 3 simple steps. This simple method is known as the Body Asleep Mind Awake Technique.

The first step is to relax completely.

If you want to relax completely, you must retire to a quite, semi-dark place free of pets and family members who might disturb you. Request your friends and family members not to disturb you. Ensure that you have plenty of time on your hands and have no important meetings or deadlines. Switch off the radio, television, and mobile phone.

Now lie down and try the progressive relaxation technique. Tense and relax the muscles of your body in turns. Start with the feet and finish at the head. Breathe slowly and deeply. Avoid movements.

If you are not comfortable with this technique of relaxation, find one that suits you.

The second step is to visualize.

Now that you are completely relaxed, you will notice stray thoughts floating into your mind. Bring to your mind beautiful thoughts of nature, waterfalls, the singing of birds, and so on. Alternatively, you can imagine yourself floating, falling, or sinking—anything to bring to mind the weightless nature of your astral body. Try to get rid of unwanted negative thoughts and mental dialogues. When you are doing this, you are trying to fall asleep consciously.

The third step is to leave the body.

By now, you will have entered the vibration state. Most aspirants make the mistake of getting scared here. Do not fear; no harm will come to you. Just allow the sensations. During this stage, you might also hear a buzzing sound in your ear and you will not be able to move, a condition known as sleep paralysis.

You can now either rise above your body or roll out of it or simply imagine yourself in another room. Avoid looking at the physical body at this stage.

This is how you astral project; and it is the easiest way out there. This should help you get out of your body. If it doesn’t, practice and practice till you succeed.
