I don't remember what binaural beats are specifically used for, if for dreams or not.

Have you ever tested your system's memory on your computer to see if it's at 100% capability? What that test program does is it sends the most basic of binary number combinations through your RAM, like "11111111111", "000000000000", "0101010101010101", "11001100110011001100".

Binary, meet Binaural. Binaural? This is Binary. "Nice to meet you!"

Think of binaural beats the same way. They are sounds that your brain coud pick up and rely on for a type of logical foundation, allowing it to possibly focus on more abstract things in dreaming. Your usage of logic in life will also determine what context of effectiveness it uses. For instance, if you rely heavily on logic, you will probably have more emotional dreams. If you don't rely on logic and are mostly emotional, your dreams might take on a more foundational stance to them.

Can it work? Only to the point that your brain considers what it hears to be sigificant. Skepticism could prevent it. Intense desire in it could accentuate it.

One of the instructions will be to listen to it at a low volume. I personally like higher volumes but it can jack with your eardrums if you're not careful. I suggest putting yourself through a mild sleep deprivation just prior to listening. Hold off sleep as long as you can and it will adjust your brain's chemicals just enough to where you will enjoy sleep. Your brain will be more grateful for the sleep and thus might be more receptive of outside influence.

Want something you can do physically prior to sleeptime? Eat a bunch of raw spinach just beofre bed. Your brain will be so alert while you sleep that you will make the sleep-to-wake transition easily.

I say give it a chance.

Only one way to find out.

That has happened to me before. I mean I've never used binaural beats, but I have had dreams so strange that I knew they weren't real while I was dreaming.
