Most of us feel that dreams make no sense. They are absurd happenings, difficult to understand and interpret, incongruent, and feature a constant and unpredictable change of scenes. Lucid dreaming pills change all this….they make your dreams appear clearer.

Rapid Eye Movement (REM) is the most essential stage of sleep. We have our best dreams during this phase of sleep. Lucid Dreaming Techniques

For the uninitiated, lucid dreaming is a phenomenon where a sleeping person becomes conscious of the fact that he or she is dreaming. A lucid dream can, in some instances, be controlled by the dreamer. While much of the science of sleep and dreaming is still not completely understood, lucid dreaming has in fact been well studied and documented. In this article, I’ll describe some of the most common techniques for inducing a lucid dream.

Dream Recall

One of the keys to achieving lucid dreaming is the ability to recall many or most of your regular dreams. This practice of developing a deeper understanding of your personal dream landscape (the characters, settings, emotions etc) is crucial to developing your ability to dream lucidly.

There are many ways to help your dream recall one of the most important however, is to physically record your dreams upon waking up each morning. Make this your ritual and do it as soon as you awaken. Record with as much detail as you can remember, include how you felt during the dream. Next, prior to going to sleep at night read through your dream journal, this will stimulate your dreaming senses and will help you to understand the themes and subjects that typically appear within your dreams.

Perform Reality Checks

A reality check is something that you can do in a conscious state that is difficult to perform during a dream. As an example, numbers often change during a dream, one typical reality check is to look at your watch, remember the exact time, then look back a moment later. During dreaming, the time you see will rarely be the same. You should perform this periodically everyday, throughout your waking hours and each time say to yourself, “Am I dreaming now or am I awake”. The idea is to get in the habit of doing this with the hopes that it will carry over into your dream state.

Induction devices

These devices that you wear when you go to bed can be quite effective in helping to induce a lucid dream state. They work by monitoring when you enter REM (the dream phase of sleep) then they either emit a flash of light or a sound. The purpose is to let you know that you are in fact dreaming, you can then more readily move into a lucid state.

Lastly, lucid dreaming is a fascinating phenomenon that can allow us to tap into the creative potential of our dreams to solve everyday problems. Trying to solve a tough problem at work? Why not dream about it tonight and use you brains boundless creativity to help you solve. It’s possible once you’ve mastered the techniques of lucid dreaming.

Lucid dreaming can be a very exciting and rewarding activity if you have the proper instruction in lucid dreaming. If done properly you can have lucid dreams at will and be able to have full control of them. What this actually means is that you can pick and choose exactly what you want to dream about. Think about that for just a few minutes… The possibilities are limitless. You can fly, win the lotto, have an erotic encounter, visit exotic destinations and do just about anything you can think of in your dreams. Of course you will need the proper instruction in lucid dreaming before you can even begin.

I have found 5 highly effective tips for the instruction in lucid dreaming for the beginner as well as for the more experienced dreamers:

1. You need to do the mental preparation.

You have to strengthen your beliefs and change some of them if necessary. Ask yourself the following 4 critical questions and answer them truthfully:

o Do you believe that you can do this?
o Do you think your dreams important?
o Are you sure you want to have lucid dreams?
o What will you do when you have lucid dreams?

You need to replace doubt with confidence; you need to believe instead of being skeptical. You will need to cultivate and reinforce your desire and view your dreams as being important. You need to have a plan in place for when you have your first lucid dream.

2. Increase your dream recall.

You will need to do the following to increase your dream recall:

o Wake slowly and motionlessly
o Let your mind drift and go through a dream checklist, just think about all the things that have happened in your dreams before, see if it triggers your memory.
o Try different sleeping positions to see if they mat trigger a memory
o Above all keep trying

I know it can be difficult to remember your dreams but it is critically important that you do. If you can wake up and remember your dreams it will be so much easier to get back into your dreams and begin controlling them.

3. Keep an accurate dream journal

This is the single most important thing you can start doing to help you remember your dreams. This will help you remember your dreams by reinforcing, to your subconscious, the importance of your dreams. This will also help you to become more familiar with your dreams which in turn will help you to gain more control when lucid dreaming.

4. Add awareness to your consciousness when awake

By increasing and training our daily awareness will benefit us by the carryover effects that it has on our dreaming awareness. If you can become more aware of your environment while awake it will enable you to be more aware while dreaming.

5. Use binaural beats to speed up your learning process

Binaural beats are two separate frequency waves that are listened to using a set of stereo headphones. The mind reacts by creating a third, different tone, which will profoundly affect the brains ability to control the dream state. They will help in causing a shift in consciousness which in turn will help you to lucid dream.

Hopefully this instruction in lucid dreaming will help you to start having lucid dreams and start you on the right path to controlling your dreams. Practice them diligently and often, use the binaural beats to jump start your journey. They are readily available for download from various web sites on the Internet. Some sites will even allow you to try them free before you purchase them. This instruction in lucid dreaming only touches on the subject and I will be submitting much more on the subject soon.

Have you ever felt fascinated with the idea of being able to control your dreams? Or maybe you would like to remember what happened in your dreams. What you want to do is develop the art of lucid dreaming. Here are some simple steps to learn lucid dreaming.

Before commencing, here is a short definition of lucid dreaming, in case you don’t know. A person is said to be lucid dreaming when he/she is aware that he/she is in a dream. To put it simply, the dreamer knows that he/she is asleep and dreaming. Moreover, you can even dream the dream of your desires. Doesn’t this sound amazing?

So, how do you start lucid dreaming?

1. Maintain a dream journal

First and foremost, maintain a dream journal. Purchase a journal and place it by the side of your bed along with a pencil. Place a flashlight too. Whenever you wake up at night, make a note of your dreams. Now, you might protest that you never dream. This is far from the truth. Of course, you dream! We all do; many of us just don’t remember our dreams.

Make it a point to remember one dream every night. You might have to maintain your dream diary for a long, long time before you develop the ability to remember four or five dreams per night, and this should be your target.

Here are a few techniques to help you remember your dreams:

* To develop the ability to recall dreams, you can use positive affirmations just as you fall asleep. Tell yourself that you will remember your dreams at any cost. This way you will prepare your mind to remember the dreams that you get.

* When you wake up, don’t jump out of bed right away. The minute you get out of bed, your mind starts thinking about a number of things, and before you know it, you will have forgotten all your dreams.

* Stay in the dream mood for some time after waking up. Mull over the experiences of the night. This helps you recall your dreams better.

2. Study your dreams

Now that you have improved your ability to recall dreams, you must start studying and analyzing your dreams. This is to take you closer to your dreams so that you get to know them better.

Are there any recurrent themes, people, and places in your dreams? Does any object, person, animal, or thing pop into your dreams again and again? Make a note of it and remember it. Knowing your dreams will help you develop a greater awareness of them. You can use these recurrent themes, objects, people, places, and things as a cue to introduce lucidity to your dreams.

When you observe the same pattern next time you are dreaming, you will immediately become aware, and this awareness transforms your ordinary dream into a lucid dream.

Though the above-mentioned is the simplest method to lucid dream, it is time consuming too. Don’t be disappointed if you don’t get a lucid dream in a few days. It might take weeks or months. Practice consistently, and soon you will find yourself alert and aware within a dream.

Start today by familiarizing yourself with your sleeping and dreaming patterns. In the meantime, you could research and study more about the subject. You might find another technique or method that might work better and quicker for you.
