I just wanna know have you always had lucid dreams? or have you mastered the skill in time? And what was the first thing you did? Whats the best lucid dream you’ve had? people say sex dreams are the best, would you agree?
my favorite dream would be flying through the sky
I have a vested interest in this too but as yet haven’t commited to the idea. I’d love to hear how it goes with you
I have and it was really scary, but not so much now that I’ve done some research.
Mine was a WILD (wake-induced lucid dream). I also experienced false awakening (many times) and sleep paralaysis.
Lastly, it happened when I was listening to a relaxation and mediation CD.
Tell me about your experience! It fascinates me.
Thanks!
EDIT: *meditation cd*
I included a site with some info!
Christina C – thank you, I know what they are. I am not looking to be informed.
I am asking others to share their experiences.
But thanks
JackofSpace- awesome! Thanks so much for sharing.
I had a dream like that once. It just kind of happened and I did not plan it or practice. Once I became aware (somehow) that I was dreaming, I knew I could control whatever I did. It was awesome. The details are pretty personal, but yeah, I’d love to be able to do it again. ) Thanks again
The best lucid dream I had was after I started practicing using techniques from a book I got on lucid dreaming.
It started when I became aware that I was dreaming when I looked at my digital watch and for some reason the time seemed strange. That gave me an inkling I might be dreaming so I looked away then back, and the time jumped to sometime like 12:97, looking again it became all dashes. Once I was fully aware it was a dream I started experimenting by clearing everything out and making it so I was on my own little planet, just standing in a green grassy field with nothing else but a blue sky. I wanted to try flying so I tested out jumping. It took a few times because it was hard to get over the idea of not having gravity, but eventually I was able to fly. So I left my planet and took a tour of the solar system. I ended it by crashing into the sun.
From there, I changed my dream into a small room where I was standing looking at myself in a mirror. For some reason I decided it would be interesting to talk to myself out how cool lucid dreaming was. For the first little bit, the mirror image’s lips moved like mine, but then I stopped talking and the mirror continued speaking my thoughts. The dream really got interesting when suddenly I became aware of all of my waking knowledge at once. Inside the dream I knew what time it was, what I had done previously in the week and what I was going to do when I got up. Everything I know while awake was available to me in the dream.
It was a very powerful experience, and unfortunately I never have been able to get one quite like it since. Must have been beginners luck.
