Learning self hypnosis is one of the easiest and most effective ways that you can use to improve yourself. The range of topics is wide: from losing excess pounds, quitting smoking and getting rid of unwanted habits through to removing fears and phobias.
Not to mention improving your confidence. In fact, if you suffer from a lack of confidence in near enough any area of your life, you can find a self hypnosis MP3 to help you out. So forget about getting nerves before an important exam or annual grade review. Simply listen to a specially produced hypnotic session a few times before the big day.
If you aren’t confident meeting people for dates – or if you struggle to even ask someone out on a date – then there’s plenty of hypnosis programs available to assist you getting your confidence back.
Moving back to weight loss and exercise, again you’ll find there are plenty of programs available to download and immediately start training your mind to help you rather than hinder you. Don’t worry, they won’t turn you into someone who starts salivating at the mere thought of eating a green salad with no dressing. Instead, they’ll train your mind to help you to think thinner thoughts and realize that there’s more to life than burgers dripping with mayonnaise.
Fears and phobias are another reason that people turn to self hypnosis. Whether you’re afraid of your dentist (and, let’s be honest, it’s easy to be scared of people messing around with drills) or you have a mortal fear of elevators. Again, there are self hypnosis programs that will talk you through getting over your fears and gradually re-program your mind so that the fears are a dim and distant memory.
All these and more can be found on the internet, so no-one needs to know you’re using hypnosis MP3s unless you want to tell them.

Do you have a fear of rejection? Are you a shy person? When it counts, does self doubt get in the way of achievements? You may be lacking a personality trait that most super achievers seem to be born with; self confidence. You do not know it yet, but in the next few moments you will feel excited to learn that self confidence hypnosis is available, and can give you that edge you need to reach the success you want.
Many people are now turning to hypnosis because it is a way to remedy personal problems without the use of drugs. And because there are no drugs involved there are no dangerous side effects to worry about. Hypnosis is also getting more and more popular because you can do it alone without paying the fees that come along with hiring a professional hypnotist. They are given positive suggestions while induced in a hypnotic state. These suggestions contain commands that pertain to improving upon self confidence. This also works very well with indecisiveness and helping people be more assertive. The added benefit, due to the nature of induction, is also that hypnosis is also very relaxing and calming.
You now know that self confidence hypnosis is available, and it can give you the edge you need to reach the success you want. Hypnosis works because it makes significant impact directly on the subconscious mind. Since this is where majority or our beliefs and actions spur from, the effects are amplified. But just as anything that is worth having, it takes work to get to where you want. You cannot expect to have overnight success (although some people have reported such experiences), repetition is key.

Confidence hypnosis addresses the fact that so many people’s personal issues, difficulties, deep-set problems, and failures are really the result of a lack of self-confidence. Confidence hypnosis attempts to tap that part of a person’s subconscious mind that deals in self-image and feelings of worth, deservedness, and so on.
Hypnosis that deals in feelings of confidence involves talking about matters of the sense of self. This involves techniques of “ego-strengthening”. This works mainly by way of targeting your “stream of consciousness”–the ways in which you habitually talk to yourself. The thoughts that you allow to flow through your mind and “take”, or consider seriously, are of paramount importance here.
People who are involved in high-performance jobs like sports or sales are often taught how to ignore negative, self-defeating thoughts even though they enter their minds. Just because you have a thought doesn’t mean you have to “take” it; you can deny yourself a thought, tell yourself “no” to a thought, and guide your mind to more positive, productive thoughts. The father of the modern concept of biological evolution, Charles Darwin, said that the ultimate teaching of his work was that human beings need to learn to control their thinking. Hypnotic confidence techniques use these concepts.
But hypnosis does not concern making people do things that are deeply against their will or convictions; for in fact, this is impossible. It is one thing to cause a person to forget that the number “6″ exists so that they suddenly start counting 11 fingers on their hands (and becoming totally confused about why they do this, as they still know they only have 10 fingers), and quite another thing entirely to command them to take a gun, go outside, and kill the first person they see. Unless you have hypnotized an already-murderous, criminally-minded person, you won’t be able to get anyone to take a gun and go kill a stranger. Hypnosis does not break a person’s morals or their will; it gives power to their deeper will and deeper desires.
Hypnosis also works on positive concepts. Using negatives, even to try to enable a positive, good, productive behavior, can have a reverse effect. For instance, telling someone in a hypnotic trance “not” to do something negative is typically not nearly as powerful as telling them to do a positive behavior which is the opposite of the negative thing they are currently doing. The subconscious mind has a difficult time with negating words like “not”.
Thus, hypnosis for instilling greater self-confidence in a person is about getting her to relax and approach hard situations with greater calmness and a cooler head. It will also attempt to get them to have a more positive attitude, one that anticipates victory or success instead of defeat. Greater assertiveness can also be a goal. And, becoming more productive with future goals and objectives can be part of this hypnotherapy, too.
So, confidence hypnosis plants positive seeds into your subconscious stream of consciousness so that you can tell yourself words of power instead of words of defeatism.

Overcome shyness by facing your fears is a common advice given by people that does not suffer from shyness. To overcome shyness this way does not work very well if your shyness is severe – it may in fact make it even worse because you might end up feeling even more hopeless and lost.
Reacting to social situation with shyness is not who you really are, it is just how you have learned to react over the years. It’s just a bad habit if you like. A better approach is to use self confidence hypnosis to change the way you think and feel before you try to face your fears.
Being shy is often closely related to lack of self confidence and low self esteem. Using good self help therapy like self confidence hypnosis will address the problems that make you feel anxious and shy and help you overcome shyness. A lot of people have already used hypnosis as a successful treatment to overcome shyness..
Self confidence hypnosis puts you into a state of mind that makes you relax completely. You are not sleeping or totally ‘gone’, but with self confidence hypnosis you are kind of daydreaming. Your body and mind is able to slow down, relax and focus 100% on the new positive ways of thinking that are being conditioned into your unconscious mind.
With hypnosis the unconscious part of your brain will break up and throw away the old unhealthy patterns that make you feel shy and help you learn new patterns and ways of thinking that will enable you to enjoy being with others and have fun in social situations.
Self confidence hypnosis works really well to overcome shyness. By consistently using hypnosis as treatment, you are reprogramming your brain with new healthy ways of thinking that causes you to actually feel more confident and less shy in social situations.
