Theta Wave Healing

How are brain waves measured?

And, are Theta waves able to heal bodily alements? Has anyone out there delved into the realm of theta, or delta waves? HOW WAS IT?

Just a partial answer to your questions.
The brain waves are measure as electrical activity on a “EEG”
Electrical Electroencephalograph.
Receptors are taped to specific area of your head and the electrical impulses are recorded on graph paper.
Very similar to graphs you have seen of the heart.
And in this manner they can see the brain electrical activity.
I used to be very interested in brain activity and did a lot of research but that has now been superseded by other interests.

NLP Hypnosis and Brain Waves

A California psychiatrist and psychologist named Dr. Milton Erickson discovered a way Electroencephalography. It was a powerful, safe, and effective method to help his patient’s access their unconscious mind, past memories.
Electroencephalography is the neurophysiologic measurement of the electrical activity of the brain by recording from electrodes placed on the scalp or, in special cases, within the subdural or the cerebral cortex.
The brain operates in four general states determined by the frequency of the electricity generated by the exchange of chemicals within the neural pathways.
The four states include Full Acutely aware Awareness or Beta, the Hypnotic State or Alpha, the Dream State or Theta, and also the Sleep State or Delta.
These four states correspond to electrical activity in the brain and are defined by frequency ranges on an EEG.
Full Acutely aware Awareness happens when the bulk of the electrical activity in the brain is in the beta vary (14-35 Hz)
The Hypnotic State occurs when brain activity is in the alpha vary (8-13 Hz).
The Dream State happens when brain activity is during the theta vary (four-seven Hz).
The Sleep State happens when brain activity is during the delta range (.5-3 Hz), after we sleep.
Full Aware Awareness / Beta (14-thirty five Hz)
Our mind is attentive and uses logic to reason, evaluate, assess, judge, and build decisions. This can be the stage used to manage new experiences such as learning or reacting to unrecorded events. You’re wide-awake, alert. Your mind is sharp, focused.
Within the Beta state, neurons fire abundantly, in fast succession, serving to you achieve peak performance. New ideas and solutions to problems flash like lightning into your mind.
Beta coaching is one in every of the frequencies that biofeedback therapists use to treat Attention Deficit Disorder.
Beta-centered programs help you prepare to take an exam, play sports, provide a presentation, analyse and organise info and different activities where mental alertness and high levels of concentration are key to your success.
The Hypnotic State / Alpha (8-thirteen Hz) The doorway between the acutely aware and also the subconscious is opened and memories become simply accessible.
This is a good stage to perform rehearsed actions such as inventive performances, sporting competitions, also letting general creativity to flow. In the Hypnotic State, you are not extremely “thinking” in the ancient sense. You’re “experiencing” or “letting things happen” without question. This is the stage chosen by most Jap disciplines and usually used for light meditation.
The Dream State / Theta (four-7 Hz)
A amount in way of life that lasts a few seconds during the section of waking up or falling asleep and is the brain’s frequency vary that we use during hypnosis or self-hypnosis.
This is the frame of mind used for hundreds of years by the Tibetan monks to perform the best meditations with to attain extreme physical and mental states.
The explanation of this phenomenon is based on the mechanisms of the possible/impossible.
The brain protects the body from most mental or physical practices that it perceives to be not possible to perform, like flying from the roof of your home. But your mind permits you to fly in your dreams throughout the sleeping stage, as a result of this cannot harm your body.
In The Dream State frequency, the body is asleep, and so judgment of the impossible can rest. Yet during this state, the mind remains awake and in a position to perform actions thought of not possible and thus restricted at a better brain frequency.
The Sleep State / Delta (.five-3 Hz)
Delta is that the slowest of all four brain wave frequencies. Most commonly associated with deep sleep. Sure frequencies in the Delta range also trigger the release of Human Growth Hormone so helpful for healing and regeneration. This is why sleep – deep restorative sleep – the kind that Delta frequencies facilitate induces is therefore essential to the healing process.
CONCLUSION
Vibrations from rhythmic sounds have a profound result on our brain activity. It is no coincidence that 4.5 beats, or cycles, per second correspond to the trance-like state of theta brain wave activity.
You have your terribly own signature brain wave activity, unique to you. It has a rhythm and pattern and it incorporates Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta frequencies at varying levels over the course of every day as your brain modulates them to match your activities.
Hypnosis works as a result of it uses a mechanism already in place. Folks already assume, feel, and act in response to hypnosis everyday, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Thus, hypnosis can stay at the forefront of human evolution as a result of it is through hypnosis that individuals become who they are in the first place. It seems this natural phenomenon is solely limited by the boundaries of our own imagination.

Astral travelling is the kind of experience that can profoundly change one’s perspective of life. It certainly did change mine: a little over ten years ago, when I began to experience a series of spontaneous out of body experiences and lucid dreams, my outlook on life and my place in the universe was redefined.

It is one thing, of course, to imagine what it would be like to go through walls as an un-material entity and another to be actually experiencing it. Going through walls is only the beginning though. People undergoing out of body experiences report a wide variety of occurrences that range from meeting other beings not manifest in usual physical reality to having ‘astral sex’ while in that state.

This series of experiences ten years ago  seemingly happened without my conscious involvement but now that I am wanting to induce astral travelling consciously and at will I’m finding the process to be a more difficult one than I would have thought.

Adepts of astral projection can literally train and practice for years before getting to the point of enjoying significant conscious control over the bringing about of such experiences – let alone having command over the out of body adventures themselves.

Thankfully, it is possible to get a big helping hand in the conscious exploration of astral travel by the way of binaural beats (also known as brainwave entrainment).

Binaural beats are sound frequencies designed to influence the brain waves of the listener in a variety of fashions. An astral projection binaural beats recording gets the brain to generate frequencies between 4 and 7 Hz (theta waves) – the same frequencies that the brain would be producing during any out of body experience.

By gently having the brain enter theta mode using binaural beats, it then becomes possible to exit the physical body much more easily.

This may seem a little strange at first but it is a safe tool: binaural beats have been discovered over 170 years ago and have been extensively researched and used since the 1970s.

Best of all, they work remarkably well! They literally can make the difference between success and failure in your exploration of binaural beats as it did for me. Using them still requires you to relax deeply and possibly use an exit technique or visualization to get out of the body but this process is dramatically facilitated by the binaural sounds.

Self-help Hypnosis W/ Binaural Beats

Hypnosis has been used throughout history for both the treatment of physical and mental ailments as well as achieving social influence. With the advent of neurology and audio technology it is now possible for people to reap the benefits of hypnosis themselves without a hypnotist or other third party. Audio technology is utilized with brainwave entrainment through binaural beats to achieve hypnotic, altered states of consciousness quickly and easily, generally in 5-10 minutes. This means that one can achieve any hypnotic, altered state desired and achieve states such as meditation, relaxation, sleep, focus and concentration as well as altered states of consciousness that allow one to perform ESP, telepathy, remote viewing and past life regression with near to no effort and time. There are even binaural beats available to help individuals quit smoking, lose weight, gain confidence and improve health and healing… all achievable with no prior experience with hypnosis and meditation.

In past history it took years of dedication and practice with meditation to achieve hypnotic states and such elite feats of mind as ESP, telepathy and enhanced regenerative healing. However with brainwave entrainment any individual can simply sit back, put on headphones, relax and achieve these very same states in only minutes. This is because brainwave entrainment works directly on the brain to alter brainwave frequencies that are responsible for hypnotic, altered states of consciousness.

Brainwave entrainment works through playing two separate frequencies through stereo headphones to the left and right ears respectively. The brain upon hearing these two frequencies will produce a third frequency, called the binaural beat, which is the difference between the two frequencies being played. This binaural beat frequency can match any brainwave frequency including the brainwave frequencies that match up with altered states of consciousness such as meditation, relaxation and sleep, just to name a few. Because binaural beat audio technology works directly upon the brain in altering brainwaves, altered states of consciousness can be achieved very quickly and easily, generally in 5-10 minutes.

Brainwave entrainment and binaural beats are the most effective way to achieve self-hypnosis as it requires no prior experience with hypnosis or meditation and can achieve hypnotic states in just minutes. There are however other methods other than audio technology for achieving self-hypnosis. One method is autosuggestion. Autosuggestion utilizes meditation and visualization to put the mind into a hypnotic trance through one’s self imaging walking down steps or repeating a mantra. Self-hypnosis can also be achieved through walking hypnosis which is achieved through repeating a repetitive task. The repetition utilized in walking hypnosis will make the brain “bored”, at which point the mind will “day dream” or “zone out” and enter an altered state of consciousness. An example of walking hypnosis would be the tendency to daydream and zone out during boring lectures presented by monotone professors. The repetitive, monotonous tone of the professors voice would lull the mind into a trance-like, hypnotic state.

If you are interested in using self-hypnosis to achieve altered states of consciousness such as relaxation, sleep, meditation, ESP, telepathy, remote viewing, past life regression or if you want to improve your life by losing weight, increasing learning, memory, confidence, self-esteem, focus, concentration and overall health, longevity and energy then brainwave entrainment may be something you want to test out.
