What is the meaning of the symbol om that is present in meditation and yoga, I am very curious, and would like a straight forward answer. I know that it somehow correlates to the Budda and Hindu culture, but I would like to know the MEANING and SYMBOLISM of it. Thanks!
It means “The Sun”
SOL= Sun in latin
OM = Sun in eastern religions
ON = Sun in egyptian who had the city of the sun called On.
Put them together and you have King Solomon the Sun, and his temple which was a Temple of Light… The story of Hiram Abiff building King Solomon’s Temple of light is the key theme of freemasonry…. freemasons of course are searching for the light…
Gods like Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Dionysus… they’re all symbolizations of the sun and a hallucinogenic mushroom… Astrotheology and Shamanism (drug use) is what all the religions were originally based upon. The ancient people worshipped the sun and plants. The gods people worship today are just symbolizations of these things.
I was meditating and it felt like my spirit was leaving my body what does this mean?
I meditated before and it relaxed me but this time was diferent. i was focusing on my root chakra then began to pray while listening to my meditation music. about a half hour into it i was at complete mental and spiritual peace, which i also have never experienced in my past meditation. But a short time afterwards i felt extremly light as if i were floating and with my eyes closed saw a light figure of myself start to come out of my body and i felt it come out of my chest. it freaked me out a little so i opened my eyes but after that i couldnt get back to that state. i figure i should rest for the night an go all the way tomorrow. does anyone have any idea what i experienced?
it sounds like that blissful state between sleeping and being awake

meditation research harvard Meditation can change. DNA?
I have read about the research. googles at Harvard found the DNA to change. DNA or brainstructure. If possible, we can. Make physical changes to the structure of the face of the body as well as through meditation?
Meditation can not change the composition of DNA. But can be modified to enable some Gene meditation can activate genes gland. pineal, and enable some of the genes in the same hormone could have other uses. This is done by sending control signals to the brain of these glands. The meditation can enable the gland. and pineal melatonin secretion, and more. We need to do research on that. .. In the future I will certainly do that.
Where can i find a summary and analysis over the book Meditations by Marcus Aurelius?
The version by George Long.
his own guidance and self-improvement. It is possible that large portions of the work were written in Sirmium, where he spent much time planning military campaigns from 170 to 180. Some of it was written while he was positioned at Aquincum on campaign in Pannonia, because internal notes tell us that the second book was written when he was campaigning against the Quadi on the river Granova (modern-day Hron) and the third book was written at Carnuntum. It is not clear that he ever intended the writings to be published, so the title Meditations is but one of several commonly assigned to the collection. These writings take the form of quotations varying in length from one sentence to long paragraphs.
His stoic ideas often involve avoiding indulgence in emotion, a skill which, he says, will free a man from the pains and pleasures of the material world. He claims that the only way a man can be harmed by others is to allow his reaction to overpower him. An order or logos permeates existence. Rationality and clear-mindedness allow one to live in harmony with the logos. This allows one to rise above faulty perceptions of “good” and “bad.”
