Can acupuncture treat anismus? Do you have anismus?

I suffer from anismus – where the rectal muscles tighten instead of relax when I try to go to the bathroom. This causes me sever, painful constipation.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome Symptoms – Understanding The Symptoms Is the First Step to Eliminating Them

When you first start experiencing irritable bowel symptoms, you may be confused as to just what is wrong. You may know you have some type of digestive problems, but need some help figuring out what is going on.

One of the worst problems that you have to deal with is the embarrassment factor. Not knowing how your bowels are going to react can restrict your activities. It can even cause problems at work, and going out to eat can be very traumatic if your mind is on whether or not you will have to run to the bathroom.

There are quite a few recommendations you can follow that will bring you relief and even eliminate your irritable bowel syndrom symptoms. Simple dietary changes, stress management, biofeedback and exercise can all have beneficial results.
