Is it inevitible that EEG biofeedback/neurofeedback will eventually replace psychotherapy?

umm.. no, biofeedback and neurofeedback are in some ways a form of psychotherapy. Bio and Neurofeedback are a form of Behavioral therapy – in that patients learn to recognize and deal with pain, on comming symptoms, etc…

Even tho they have been linked to treatment of anxiety disorders and PTSD, they often dont work when it comes to the treatment of severe disorders.

What effects (if any) did any Youtube hypnosis videos have on you?

I’m researching the effects of those self hypnosis videos on Youtube. What effects did they have on you? What happened? What did you see? Has anyone ever really gotten hypnotized by the videos?
Also; can you tell me if you are a guy or a girl, i want to see if that has any effect on the outcome. thank you. (:

mmm…well I never got hypnotized by any of the YouTube videos, but an ex-girlfriend did send me a custom hypnosis video that she made just for me. She knew that I was easily hypnotized and I watched it and apparently fell under. The video commanded to call her and I did, then she came over and recorded me doing all sort of stupid things like zombie sleepwalking and standing at attention and saying Yes Mistress to her commands!

It was just for fun though because she knew I like hypnosis in our role play
