hypnosis center Can we bring Dr. Georgina Cannon to San Francisco?
Hello community! For those of you who have read Brian L. Weiss, M.D. book “Many Lives, Many Masters” or those of you have seen the CBC show “Past Life Investigation”, you many be interested to know that Dr. Georgina Cannon, a certified master clinical hypnotherapist, Director of the Ontario Hypnosis Centre in Toronto, Ontario, will be stopping by San Francisco in November, 2007 on her way to Australia. If I can get a group of at least 10 people to agree to see her, she’ll spend some extra time in San Francisco. Her fee is $300 for a two hour session. If anyone is interested, please let me know by sending an email to elenafran9@yahoo.com and we’ll go from there. Thanks!
I am interested to know about your personal experiences with the hypnosis, and your feelings about it.
I’m more interested to know about personal experiences and perceptions of the actual therapy rather than just success or failure.
My husband and I went to a hypnotist together to quit smoking. We get there and it is a big open room with the lights dim the Dr. talked to us for a little while and then he proceeded to hypnotize us. I really had wanted to quit so I was paying close attention to what he said even though I didn’tt feel like anything was really happening until…. he said your arm will slowly raise and you won’t be able to put it down. I could see and feel everything and my arm started to raise it freaked me the hell out! And I guess I came out of the trance. I let him finish his thing but I was dying to leave. I was so freaked that when I did leave I lit a cigarette as soon as I walked out! I did not like the feeling of losing control over myself at all. It is a very unsettling experience. I do have to say though it probably would have worked if he wouldn’t have used that arm thing lol.

do you think hypnosis will work for child birth? like im scared to death to give birth, i test my blood sugar and im crying like a baby for an hour cause my finger hurts afterwards, eveyone says i act like im being murdered (im not to good with pain) so can i be hypnitized to not feel pain or idk how it works, how dose it work? anyone tried it? did it work or no?
im not sure about hypnosis….but you should try water birth…..my friend had it and not only did the baby come out in only a couple pushes but she said that it didn’t hurt one bit that in fact the water was warm and relaxing…so i would look into that
Does Quantum Physics Biofeedback, EPFX, SCIO really work?
Anyone tried it? I have done some research and even had the initial scan, but I haven’t been able to find any real discussions on it and it kind of seems “too good to be true” in a sense. Any thoughts or experiences? I don’t want to hear from doctors who practice it, but actual clients who have seen results or lack there of.
I have been researching neurofeedback for a while and have come across a psychologist in my home town that uses this machine and I met w/ him. He seemed quite lucid but no one could give an explanation as to how the machine works. The Dr. kept telling that the machine is able to send out treatment through subspace over hundreds of miles just from the computer alone. Science or science fiction. Just follow this link and read more about the creator of this so called mirracle machine. http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/xrroid.html
