I believe the term is supposed to suggest the effect of ones emotions being felt all over their body. for example being upset and seeing red or being nervous and getting butterflies in your stomach, yet this term reflects an overwhelming sensation over the whole body
Harmful to listen binaural beats by ignoring our internal clocks?
Someone use Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta, Gamma binaural beats for meditation, since those brainwave can be generated within brain itself, it does not mean they are harmless. When we try to listen to binaural beats for achieve brain status at random period, we will be ignore our internal clock’s activities. Nobody knows the side effects on interrupting the internal clock of your body. Does anyone know any guideline when will be the right time to listen specific binaural beats?
Thanks in advance of any suggestions
It is the same as if you said that it is harmful to relax, because our body maybe doesn’t want to relax.
Binaural beats can definitely help you achieve certain goal that you want to achieve. It can help you relax when you want to relax, it can help you sleep when you want to sleep but you can’t relax. If you are trying to calm your mind that wanders off often and you can’t get to the state necessary for meditation, and you listen to meditation beats, it can help you a lot.
Just like you can use relaxing bath to relax, you can use binaural beats.

but i cant exacley fall to sleep with a computer next to me!
Has anyone heard of sleep headphones for insomnia? Have you tried them? Do the binaural beats work?
I’m looking for a natural way to help me sleep. Melatonin and Tylenol PM make me really really groggy the next day, and the prescription medications are too strong for me too. I found some headphones for sleeping and was wondering if binaural beats actually work.
